For example, you can program your television to turn on, flip to your favorite channel and then adjust to a volume that you select. Also, macros are not limited to a single device, so you can create a macro to turn on your TV, Receiver, DVD Player, Cable Box, etc...all with 1 key press. Yes, this can be done using the FLPR macro feature. Macro keys store sequences of keys, and this sequence can come from any device or combination of devices. To get started creating a macro, touch the function bar, then select "Add" and then "New Macro". Follow the onscreen instructions to create your macro.

Yes, software version 1.1.1 includes support for this feature. To program a delay into a macro you are creating, tap the function bar. You will have the option of programming a 1, 2, or 5 second delay ("1s" "2s" or "5s"). Select your desired delay and continue programming your macro.

Devices can be deleted by pressing and holding the icon of a device on the function bar.

No. FLPR has an extensive database of over 500 complete remote controls with over 66,000 individual IR codes, and is always being updated. Adding a remote control device is simple. All you need to do it select the type of device, the brand, give it a name and background, and the device is ready. In the unlikely event that your remote is not included in the database, there is a learning feature allowing keys from an existing remote to be programmed.

When FLPR is connected but not in use, it will go into power-save mode, and will not discharge the battery even if left in your iPhone. FLPR draws signifcant power only when in use and you are sedning IR commands. Since FLPR is powered by your iPhone or iPod Touch battery, extended use over time will draw energy from the battery the same way as when using other features on the iPhone/iPod Touch will. Given that you are not usually holding down a remote key for an extended period of time, you do not need to be concerned about FLPR affecting your battery life.

Make sure that FLPR is securely attached to your iPhone or iPod touch. A loose or half connection can cause intermittent results. In some occasions, an iPhone or iPod touch may stop communicating with an accessory. A reboot of the iPhone or iPod touch is sometimes needed to get them out of this state. To reboot, press and hold the lock key (on top of the iPhone or iPod touch).
